Atlas Shrugged is a fiction novel by Ayn Rand based on her philosophy of Objectivism. The main crux of the book is human minds. The book explains very well what could happen if the world is ruled by looters. It shows the value of people who move the world with their minds. A very good book which imbibes philosophy with human nature.
The book is too long — more than pages and the preaching gets repetitive in many places. The plot consists of the struggle of major industrialists, scientists, and men of action of the USA to survive severe restrictions forced by the corrupt bureaucrats in the name of the social good.
